Hover over box displays 4-direction symbol.
Double clicking box (right click I think) shows "auto fill options" with drop down menu of all the auto fill items.
There is no way to deselect the last item. One item is always present.
Cannot remove the autofill using all help instructions.

I run Excel for Mac 15.32. I recently reinstalled it in hopes of curing my problem. No go. My version opens fine but often sort-of freezes, not letting me enter new information, sometimes jiggling as well. Very annoying and destructive of productivity. Can you help?

I am making a catalouge on excel. I am going down 5 pages and and then 5 paes up and so on. But when ever I go to print preview it is showing me that pages pages 6 - 60 down wards are empty but i want it to go from 1 - 5 at the bottom and them up the way 6 - 10 but i dont want those pages i want it to go 5,10,15 and so on. so could you please help me get rid of those pages.

i am using a formula on excel that when a month is put into cell C3 it populates data from a different tab into a field.
the formula i am using is
=INDEX('ALERT REGISTER'!B:B,MATCH(C3,'ALERT REGISTER'!A:A,0)+1)
so i add the +1 at the end so that it doesnt generate the same data each time but the one below, so the next formula will have a +2 on the end to generate the next set of data after that and so on...
the problem i am having is when i enter the Date into C3 for example April-17, it will populate all of Aprils information but because i have +1, +2, +3 etc it will also carry on and bring up Mays information when really i want it to stop at April.
can you help with this?

I am trying to build a Parking violation log, I want to have Column A=First Name, Column B=Last Name, Column C=Vehicle Make/Model, Column D=Vehicle LP Number, Column E=Violation Number (already calculated that to autogenerate somehow if theres a LP number listed), I would like Column F to be the Number of Violations a particular individual has been issued. I'm having trouble figuring a formula that can keep a running total of how many times a person, based on their first & last name and their Vehicle License plate has been entered in the log. I'm a novice with excel but I know it can be done.. I hope. Please help?
