I'd like to be able to automatically update a formula so that it references a sheet in my workbook. I have attached an example on a much smaller scale. I use this document year to year so some projects don't need to be included every year and therefore get deleted. How can I reference my formula so that it takes that into account. For instance if I have projects numbers 1 thru 10 but then the following year I know longer need to include projects 2, 6 and 7. I then need to re-number my projects. On Summary sheet, can I have formulas in cells B through H that references only cells in Column A to get the appropriate sheet number

i don't know if this is the right place to ask for help but maybe you can help me. I've been tasked with finding out where all our tech hardware is and make an inventory sheet using excel 2013. I have a scanner to scan the bar codes so it can add the serial number automatically to my excel shee, but my problem is that everytime i scan a barcode it goes to the next bottom cell instead of the cell to the right. Scanning is tedious because before scanning i have to choose a cell, then scan the bar code which fills the chosen cell but then right after scanning it goes to the next bottom cell instead of the cell to the right where i have to manually imput an asset tag number. any way i can change that in excel or do you know of any inventory sofware that can help me accomplish what i need to do? I just want to scan the bar code and automatically go to the cell to the right and not the bottom. thanks renan

I have a spreadsheet with IF Statements in multiple cells of a single row entry. I need to be able to allow users to insert a new row that will keep the IF Statements intact. I have created a macro New Row button but don't know how to set it up to insert the new row with the IF Statements...or is there is a different way to do it without the macro button.

I need help on automated updating of cell C2, currently im using IF ELSE statement which is limited at 7 nested if functions. Total Quantity Sold is updated from another file. I have several item from several shipment each with varying cost price. what the nested if else statement is doing is that, cost price start with shipment one, once quantity sold has exceeded quantity from shipment 1, it will update to the cost price of shipment 2. Once quantity sold has exceeded quantity purchase from shipment 1 and 2, it will take the cost price of shipment 3. Please assit on how to do away on the nested If else statement. thanks!

I had a formula in B1, C1.... which is not working. I want results as ----for example every time I add a number in next row the formula will do a calculation B3-B4, if I add a number in B5 the calculation should be B5-B3. It always should use a new number - B3. The formula in B1 didn't calculate for some reason and if the result is "-" it shows as "0". Can anyone help? Please ....Please
