Here are some problems that our users have asked and received explanations on
Worksheet with four columns and hundred of rows.
Each row is a separate transaction, which is either a debit (shown in column B) or a credit (shown in column C) and is attributed to one of 75 clients (shown in column D). It also has a date (shown in column A)...and is not relevant here.
Each transaction (row) is either a debit or a credit but not both.
I want to calculate the sum of debits and credits for each client. In other words, after filtering by client I will have both filtered cells and some blank cells. It doesn't work.
I am using 2016 Excel for Mac.
Please help me develop the method to do this.
