I am a small business and use excel to do all my income and expenses reports. I am wondering is if there is a way to create a drop down that will direct the value of the cell next to it to a certain category.
so fro example, let say I have imported my monthly bank statement and I have 2 gas expenses and 1 meal expense.
gas expense 1 $20 GAS
meal expense 1 $14 MEALS
gas expense 2 $50 GAS
Can I create a dropdown here beside each expense and direct it to go to a seperate spread sheet to be added together
once I select the expense then it will go to the other spread sheet and add up GAS $70 and MEALS $13

hi,
i've got an excel sheet that i download from a website that contains hyperlinks to pdf documents for download.
the link only works if i actually copy and paste it into the web browser, but i want it to automatically download on clicking the hyperlink whilst in excel. help!!!

The labels from my excel charts are complete disappeared - They are ticked in "Label Options" and I have check all obvious reasons. I have been back to previous saved spreadsheets with these charts and they have also disappeared - I'm completely stumped - can you help?

Hello i need help with an excel spread sheet I am working with. I have a portfolio return which is updated with prices based on the date. The securities prices are uploaded directly from Bloomberg, meaning every time I change the date the price changes to reflect the price on that date.
