User
23/08/2017 - 02:04
So, in this example
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:04
Ok
User
23/08/2017 - 02:04
Sheet 1 has 3 names
User
23/08/2017 - 02:04
all names have a date
User
23/08/2017 - 02:04
one of those dates is in the past
User
23/08/2017 - 02:04
on sheet 2
User
23/08/2017 - 02:04

Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:04
What you want?
User
23/08/2017 - 02:05
I am trying to work the formula to carry the names of the men on sheet 1, onto sheet 2, if the date is in the future
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:05
if it is future
User
23/08/2017 - 02:05
If the date is in the past, then the name doesn't appear
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:09
Please take a look
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:09
Sheet 2
User
23/08/2017 - 02:10
cool
User
23/08/2017 - 02:11
But if the date becomes in the past, the name then will be removed from sheet 2?
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:11
I add two ways
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:11
A if it is last B if it is future
User
23/08/2017 - 02:12
Ah!
User
23/08/2017 - 02:12
I see
User
23/08/2017 - 02:13
""
User
23/08/2017 - 02:13
is the difference
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:13
"" means empty
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:14
If yes then add A if not empty
User
23/08/2017 - 02:14
I see! Very clever!
User
23/08/2017 - 02:14
And if I wanted them all in the same column?
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:15
You mean step by step without empty range
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:15
?
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:15
let me see
User
23/08/2017 - 02:15
For example, only column A to have names (or not to have names)
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:16
I don't get it sorry
User
23/08/2017 - 02:16
So, currently, A2 has a name in it, also B1 and B3. If I only wants A1,2,3,4,5 to have names in,
User
23/08/2017 - 02:17
B, C, D all have different data on my workbook
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:17
If you want to delate the empty rown just use filter
User
23/08/2017 - 02:17
I see, I think
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:17
You need to use filter
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:17
Then
User
23/08/2017 - 02:18
Filter is new to me (I've not heard of it)
Excelchat Expert
23/08/2017 - 02:18
wait a minute sir
User
23/08/2017 - 02:18
