Question description:
This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this
blog.
I have created an action item task list. Column C has drop down lists which say complete, pending, and in progress with corresponding color coding. The column next to it is the due date and I would like to get that column to change color as you change the progress status on the left simultaneously.

I just changed the conditional formatting criteria and range to Column C and D. So if Column C contains the listed values i.e. Complete, Pending, past due, the color coding will apply to both the columns
