User 18/09/2018 - 01:37
so when i performed a vlookup from sheet 2 to 1
User 18/09/2018 - 01:37
I get errors on some cells
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:37
Ok.
User 18/09/2018 - 01:37
I need date from sheet 1 to be populated in sheet 2
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:38
Please allow me a minute to generate the formula and then we will see why we are getting these errors.

Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:39
So all the N/A are where Vlookup is unable to find any match in sheet 1
User 18/09/2018 - 01:39
A10 in sheet 1 is the value of the first error
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:40
Ok. Let me check this.
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:42
I’m working on your solution. But don’t worry, I’ll be updating you throughout!
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:44

User 18/09/2018 - 01:47
thank you we found the error
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:48
The error is with the 255 character
User 18/09/2018 - 01:48
looks like there are formatting differences
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:48
the work around is Index Match in an array formula
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:48
Did it work after changing the formatting?
User 18/09/2018 - 01:48
i dont know how to do that
User 18/09/2018 - 01:49
is there an easy way?
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:49
I already did the formatting trouble shoot but still not working.
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:49
Give me minute
User 18/09/2018 - 01:49

Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:53

Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:53
like , is missing in A10 on sheet 1
Excelchat Expert 18/09/2018 - 01:53
