So if E from Sheet1 = D from Sheet 2, on Sheet 2 column C you want to have a value
Excelchat Expert 03/09/2018 - 12:16
But which value do you want to have there?
User 03/09/2018 - 12:17
If E in sheet 1 matches D in Sheet 2, return the value from column C in Sheet 2 to column F in Sheet 1

Excelchat Expert 03/09/2018 - 12:33
It works as you described
Excelchat Expert 03/09/2018 - 12:34
If E from Sheet1 is found in column D on Sheet2, then it returns C from Sheet2, otherwise blank
Excelchat Expert 03/09/2018 - 12:34
The formula is
Excelchat Expert 03/09/2018 - 12:34
=iferror(if(match(E2,Sheet2!$D:$D,0)<>"",index(Sheet2!$C:$C,match(E2,Sheet2!$D:$D,0))),"")
Excelchat Expert 03/09/2018 - 12:35
Here is the result in the Excel sheet that you sent me
