Excel - IF Function Problem - Expert Solution

Question description:
This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this blog.

Recently Excel stopped recognizing when I'd change a value in a formula. For example, I'd have five numbers summed in a formula... 1+2+3+4+5=15. If I change any of the inputs, for example changing 1 to 0, thus 0+2+3+4+5, it still equals 15, unless I go in and edit the formula. Help!
