So if I wanted to count everything within that date range, but have it displayed on a separate sheet, what would the formula look like?

If I wanted the total to be displayed on Sheet 2, but the data was on Sheet 1, how do I specify in the formula where the data is coming from?
Excelchat Expert

Sure

AS you can see once you click the tab you need to sum the number then excel wil recognize it

OK cool! One last question. If, instead of counting within a range (like A1:A10), how could I count within a whole column? Would I simply remove the :A10?

A:A
