I just wan to confirm I understood your questions. You would like to create a column that has dates with successive wednesdays
Excelchat Expert

for instance today is wed 8/25/2018 and the next row down in that column would have wed 8/22/2018

Is that correct?

The way I would approach this is through simple addition to the date you are starting with
Excelchat Expert
15/08/2018 - 07:52
in Excel you can add to the dates with simple addition (here date + 7)

So in B2 we have the date entered
Excelchat Expert
15/08/2018 - 07:53
In B3 we have the formula "=B2+7" which gives us the next Wednesday
Excelchat Expert
15/08/2018 - 07:54
Then the formula can be dragged down to populate the rest of the column with only wednesdays

Does that answer your question?
