My apologies, I didn't quite noticed the part where you said "If a value is entered in cellA5 , that value moves to cell B5"
Excelchat Expert

And clears A5.
Excelchat Expert

It is not possible to do such things with excel formula.
User

Pls
User

Are you clear with my points.
Excelchat Expert

Yeah, I'm clear.
Excelchat Expert

Data inputted in cell A5 should be cleared and moved to B5, and the previous value of B5 should be moved to C5.
Excelchat Expert

Isn't it the requirement?
User

Yes
Excelchat Expert

Unfortunately it is not possible to do with formula.
User

Value in A5 moves to B5 and B5 value moves to C5. No need t o clear A5 cell
Excelchat Expert
14/07/2018 - 01:47
Let's say I input a value in A5, please look at the previous window.
Excelchat Expert
14/07/2018 - 01:48
Now with formula, it is possible to show what is in A5 also in B5, and what is in B5 also in C5.
Excelchat Expert
14/07/2018 - 01:49
Then the values of all three cells would be the same.
Excelchat Expert
14/07/2018 - 01:49
If that is what you need.
Excelchat Expert
14/07/2018 - 01:51
The respective formulas for B5 should be =A5 and formula for C5 should be =B5
User
14/07/2018 - 01:52
So you failed right
User
14/07/2018 - 01:53
