This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this blog.

I bought an older laptop and it had been reformatted and windows 10 installed when I try to use my excel 2003 it will not work right when I put numbers or letter in [a1] works ok when I add letter or numbers in [b1] excel looks up if I put all my number in column [a] every thing is fine as long as I don't try to put anything in column [b] along side what I put in column [a]

Actually the problem is with the update on Windows 10

If your update is failed automatically for this, then you have to go to Microsoft website and manually download and update.

you have to download it and it will come as a setup file
