This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this
blog.
Am trying to set a numerical limit in a cell, that if data is entered into cell that exceeds the limit, the cell is flagged or a warning message appears?

in excel you need check option tap for Error Alert.

there is option for Warning and Stop..
