I want to find data that is greater than 1000 (column a) AND greater than 1 in column b. And then remove this data from the original full data set.
User 10/02/2018 - 11:36
or in this example greater than 100 in column a
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:37
OK, Means you have any different data set in sheet?
User 10/02/2018 - 11:37
what do you mean
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:38
Means you have some other original sheet & want a formula here or need only one time deletion of data?
User 10/02/2018 - 11:38
I have randomly filtered the data in the sheet that you can see here - what i want to know is how to remove this sorted data from the originAL set of data
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:39
OK, means you need method not only removal of some data?
User 10/02/2018 - 11:40
yes
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:41
Let me check whether its possible or not, please wait a while
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:44
When you sort greater than 100, you can remove that & then afterwards when you remove sort, other data will be here
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:44
Is it what you need or something different?
User 10/02/2018 - 11:45
How do I remove that
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:45
Simply deletion?
User 10/02/2018 - 11:46
but then when I click off the filter function in the tool bar the original data set is returned with nothing deleted
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:47
Strange, here I am getting only that which I wanted after filter
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:47
Which Excel are you using?
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:47
2013?
User 10/02/2018 - 11:48
mac 2011
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:48
Office version?
User 10/02/2018 - 11:48
yes
User 10/02/2018 - 11:49
2012
User 10/02/2018 - 11:49
2010**
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:49
Yes, then it is due to older version of OFFICE.
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:49
In newer version when you delete, only wanted data is here
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:50
So now you can check for updating office, then your problem will be resolved, otherwise you will need a MACROP/VBA
Excelchat Expert 10/02/2018 - 11:50
