I have created a small test sheet to check that the excel INDEX MATCH formula is working as I need it to. It seems to mostly work but randomly returns the wrong postcode for a couple of rows. I have highlighted this postcode in yellow on the lookup column and in green on the return column. This should match without issue like the other values that work fine (I dragged the formula down from D2). But for some reason the wrong postcode is being returned (highlighted in red).

I have one set of invoice #'s and the subtotal $ amount associated with that invoice # (2 columns of data) from one accounting software program and another set of invoice #'s and subtotal $ amounts from another accounting software program. So, Column A = invoice #'s from quickbooks Column B = the subtotal $ amount associated with the invoice # in the same row in Column A Column D = invoice #'s from shopworks Column E = subtotal $ amounts associated with the invoice # in the same row in column c I need to find out the following -- which invoice #'s are in Column A that aren't in Column D -- which invoice #'s are in Column D that aren't in Column A -- for invoice #'s that are in Column A and also in Column D, which of these have subtotal amounts that don't match up.. (for example: if invoice #15113 appears in column A and D, but the subtotal amount associated with 15113 is different in column B and column D, I need to know the invoice # of the discrepancy so I can investigate discrepancy.)

Hello, I am looking to write a macro for a command button that hides certain columns based on a drop down selection that contains the column headers. I have data from columns P:BE and for example the header in column P is "BEV01" so if I select "BEV01" from my drop down list, the command button will search that and if it says "BEV01" it will hide all other columns besides this. However when I go to write an elseif for the second column header "BEV02" I get an error "13 item does not match. So the code works for when BEV01 is selected in the drop down in cell K2 but not for when BEV02 is selected in K2. I am eventually going to continue this code for the entirety of the columns. See code below: what can i do to fix this? thanks Private Sub CommandButton1_Click() If Range("K2").Value = "BEV01" Then Columns("Q:BE").EntireColumn.Hidden = True ElseIf Range("K2").Value = "BEV02" Then Columns(":BE").EntireColumn.Hidded = True Else Columns("Q:BE").EntireColumn.Hidden = False End If End Sub
