I am trying to match the numbers with vlookup but for some reason its not working?

Hi, i'm trying to do a vlookup up formula in column N, this looks to match the values in column L with the values in column B and return the value from column E. The data in columns A:F is updated with a macro. The data in J:N is used in a report. I know what the problem is, that the date and time in column B has an extra space between the date and time, hence why the vlookup wont work. But i dont know how to solve this? The data that the macro takes from another worksheet does not have this extra space in it.

I am using Countif to check one column of words against another and seeing if they partially match and it should return a 1 or a 0 each row. The problem is that the cells are not just text, they are formulas, and it seems like countif does not work when the cells contain formulas because when I run the COUNTIF I get all 0s, even though I can see some words are the same. How can I fix this? Or is there another formula that works better.

Hi - I'm not really sure what I need so I'll just explain what the file represents and where I'm trying to go. These are travel diaries of matched couples (individual ID represents the husband and wife within the same household (household ID). Columns DM-DZ represent the time each individual spent at an activity based on how long they were there. I need to do this in two separate ways: the first is things that they did independently from their partner, and the second is the things they did jointly with their partner, based on the TravDay (column CI), TripStart (CZ), and TripEnd (DC) all matching. So if the husband and wife match on all three of those, then I need 14 columns similar to DM-DZ, that counts the total amount of time by TripPurpose (CS). I then need the 14 columns again for any activities which they don't match their partner on. Sorry, I know this is complicated.

Wabbed Excel File. I want to copy the price field in the TAB that says amazon and copy those prices into the tab labeled Walmrt prices. So the Amazon file the field is price, the walmart tab the field is labeled buy box price. I only want to match the items that are in walmart prices to Amazon. This is a subset of the total data in Amazon.

I am trying to clean up a spreadsheet to return only the data I need. However, the data is formatted very strange and in some rows I need only information let contains certain letters. I think the most helpful is an Index match but I am not sure how to do this correctly.
