hi, i want to change the background of cells in the same column with dates in and I am having trouble with conditional formatting for blank cells. I want cells equal to or less than to turn red, so expired dates. i want cells 1-3 days in the future to turn yellow. i want blank cells to remain uncoloured. I have tried conditional formatting with these codes. =NOW() =NOW()+1 and =NOW()+3 Blanks, no colour I find that it doesn't change automatically, and that all the blank cells either go red or yellow. its really frustrating me now, can anyone help please :)

I read the above formula online and applied it to my worksheet, and no highlights on the worksheet at all?? So, I used the exact example online then applied the conditional format above rule and again no highlights. What would prohibit the highlights? Is there another way to get the results I am looking for?
