Using the hlookup function in cell h11 to calculate freight cost based on the shipping class and state to which the shipment is going. Freight Cost can be referenced on the "Freight Cost" lookup table (range e5:n8). Be sure to use appropriate relative and absolute cell references. Hint: you will need to use a funciton within the hlookup function to determine the appropriate row................. Something in my formula is not working. Can you help me?

Hi! The data within the "Projections" Sheet needs to be return values within the "Comms Payable" sheet based on the relevant product and % entered in cell B3. For example, if Cell B3 contained 50%, cell B8 in "Projections" sheet would take the data from Cell B5 "Comms Payable". This may be a combination of HLOOKUP and IF STATEMENT? Can I explain this visually on screen? Thanks, Alastair

I dont know why I have this issue all the time. I need to keep track of inventory each week. Sheet one is the month overview, and the rest of the sheets are inventory taken that week. The totals taken each week are suppose to automatically correspond with the column on the month overview sheet with =IF(ISBLANK(B15)=TRUE,"",HLOOKUP(B15,'Taken 9-4'!$B$1:$AO$31,30,FALSE)) as the formula. But it never works when I go to create a new week. Can you help me set it up for the whole month? I know to change the B15,'Taken 9-4'!$B$1:$AO$31,30,FALSE to B15,'Taken 9-11'!$B$1:$AO$31,30,FALSE and so on.. but it doesn't work.

I'm trying to create a HLOOKUP formula using a structured reference to look up the value in the Service Years column and retrieve the value in the 2nd row of the table in the range Q15:U16. Here's what I've done and it just won't work. =HLOOKUP([Service Years],Q15:U16,16) I've also tried =HLOOKUP([Service Years],Q15:U16, Q16:U16)

In cell E2, enter a formula using the HLOOKUP function to determine a staff member's base salary (which is based on the number of years of service). a. Use a structured reference to look up the value in the Service Years column. Retrieve the value in the 2nd row of the table in the range Q15:U16. Since base salary is tiered based on the number of years of service, find an approximate match

How’s it going? Here I have a table (let’s call it Table 1) that would ordinarily be populated, but I cannot share the values unfortunately. To the far right you can see another little table I used to find the average values for each category and year using AVERAGEIF and also basic formulas for year on year changes (let’s call it Table 2). On Sheet2 is the transposed version of that table (Table 3), which is the one I want to populate using a formula linking it to Table 1 (eliminating the need for Table 2). I think the formula to use might be HLOOKUP, but I could be wrong… maybe HLOOKUP and AVERAGEIF. I would really appreciate your help on this. Thanks!
