I am attempting to create a form within excel where when a program/name is selected from a drop down list (developed from a larger table containing several lines of information for each program/name), cells to the right (in the same row) are automatically populated with information from the table for the specific program/name selected. The idea is to duplicate this so that two programs (out of the table of several) can be compared one to one. I've started a HLOOKUP formula, however it does not appear to be outputting the information

I have multiple sheets. One summary sheet that will display information pulled from a specific sheet, which I will indicate using 2 drop downs. One drop down is the date, which I will use for an hlookup, and the other drop down is the specific tab name.
In the table array portion of the hlookup formula, I want the sheet name to change with the drop down. All sheets I refer to with the hlookup formula have the same layout. So the only thing that needs to change is the sheet name within the hlookup formula. I've tried INDIRECT, OFFSET, but I cannot figure it out.

Use the HLOOKUP function in cell H11 to calculate freight cost based on the shipping class and state to which the shipment is going. Freight Cost can be referenced on the "Freight Cost" lookup table (range E5:N8). Be sure to use appropriate relative and absolute cell references.
Hint: You will need to use a function within the HLOOKUP function to determine the appropriate row.

In cell E2, enter a formula using the HLOOKUP function to determine a staff member’s base salary (which is based on the number of years of service).
Use a structured reference to look up the value in the Service Years column. Retrieve the value in the 2nd row of the table in the range Q15:U16. Since base salary is tiered based on the number of years of service, find an approximate match.
Fill the formula into the range E3:E31, if necessary.
