I want a cell value to be used as the sheet name in a VLOOKUP formula. For example I want the, 'FPT Lens' from the formula below to be a reference to a cell value so that if I change the cell value the formula updates. =HLOOKUP(A4,'FPT Lens'!$C$3:$O$14,12,FALSE)

I used this a little earlier today and an expert used the following formula to solve my issue. Still not sure exactly how to utilize it in my excel. The formula is as follows: =if(Schedule_PREDICTIONS!F5=Schedule_PREDICTIONS!G5,VLOOKUP(VLOOKUP(Schedule_PREDICTIONS!A5,'POINTS SHEET'!$A$4:$F$44,6,TRUE),'POINTS SHEET'!H$4:$J$6,3,FALSE),0) I need to know how to implement this. We were cut off before he could describe the process. The idea for the bowl game schedule. Each player selects the winner. If the winner matches the prediction from the player the player gets points. The point system is tiered, 1 point for certain games, 2 for others, and lastly three.

I need a formula that can move data from one report to another, but the first report is date sorted and has multiple rows with the same date but different data. I need the date to be populated into the second report all under the searched date. The second report looks at the first report and searches all the dates and then moves the data from the correct date rows to the second report all under the searched date. I tried vlookup and could do the data transfer for the first row of date but was not able to get excel to look for the dates in the first report. I need a date driven vlookup type of formula.

Q20 has a date that does not exist. I would like the formula: "=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(B20,MRB!$D$3:$AP$300,38,FALSE),"")" to leave the cell blank if the date does not yet exist. And if G20 says yes, I would like the entire row from B to S to hard code the numbers, that way they do not change in the future. Or is that even possible? Thank you so much! I cannot believe that I have not used your service before! I have spent hours on this worksheet and you guys resolve errors within minutes! So fantastic!
