I need help with a formula, I have written one but need to add something else on and just can't seem to work it out? The formula in M9 is:=IF(OR(L9="No Date",L9="Enter Date Here!",L9="-"),"",SUM(L9,730)), What i'm asking is if any of the text is entered in cell L9 then cell M9 will be blank and just do the sum, however I now want to change it, if L9 says "No Date" then M9 displays "Not required". I have another formula in L9 already, which is:=If(ISNA(VLOOKUP(D9,Inputs!S:AE,9,false)),"-",VLOOKUP(D9,Inputs!S:AE,9,false)) this is carrying information across from another sheet. Help???

Need to know if the companies listed in column B appear in column A. I could use a standard vlookup, but there are often differences in spelling (ABC Co vs. ABC Company -- this is a match, but wouldn't necessarily be returned as such in a VLOOKUP).

I am trying to brainstorm on how to get a formula to look up a contract, if it is between a certain date range return the value for the % associated with it. I have 2 tabs that it would be using in a spreadsheet, then it would need to multiply the MPDQ on spreadsheet 1 x the %x a fixed amt 1.084 to give the desired result. I am not sure if I need to say it is November 1 and put in the formula that if it falls between this date range vlookup contract and return this value, or would it be easier to match index and do the calculation?
