I am using excel V 16.10. I have a problem with a text box within the spreadsheet. 1. When I add words in the text box I can see the cursor moving as I type but I dont see the words. When I click outside the text box the words appear. 2.) Same thing happens when I erase contents of text box or when I highlight sections of the paragrahas. The rest of the spreadsheet works. The problem is only on this text box. Can you help me with the excel text function?

I have created a gantt chart in Excel, that highlights the cells with a color, according to the amount of days an activity has. I use a Conditional Formatting (CF) formula on a group of cells (=OG(J$6>=$E7;J$6<$F7) ) for that. If the formula is true, then the cells change color. My problem is, that the calendar includes Saturdays and Sundays (weekends). How can I write a formula in CF that will jump the weekends and count the rest of the days on monday. Fx. I have a excel sheet which I can use to track employee leaves and attendance, however where I work employees are required to work on the 1st, 3rd, and if applicable 5th Saturday in a month. 2nd & 4th Saturday are weekoffs. I am trying to do a SUMIF calculation and when I hit insert function and then chose SUMIF it brings up 3 things: range, criteria and sum_range. I can properly select the data I want in there (ex: E2:E6) but I want to make it and absolute cell reference and I am using a mac so I highlight it and click command t but a "ding" noise pops up and it doesn't allow me to change it. I am not sure why. I am following along with an excel module program and the instructor does it frequently and it works every time for him.
