I have excel file with user form, where I can connect barcode scanner and scan out items. All scanned items appears on a different sheet with the totals. I need to know if it is possible to make following: a) In the same user form using same barcode scan IN products ( I mean that after scan item would add in) b) User form would sum up all products that are scanned for 1 customer and would show the total amount to pay and for example after pressing enter, it would start new client. Like a cash register. If it is possible to add these functions I could send yuo the file that I have.

I am trying to get a value for a building material that comes in rolls and covers about 135 square feet. I want to get the number of rolls to do any job between 0 and 5000 square feet - 135 square feet at a time but with an input value anywhere in between. This would mean an enormously long column in a vlookup table or hundreds of IF functions. Is the a better way? This is a part of some building contractor spreadsheets I am putting together and I am hesitant to send out something I have worked for weeks on.

Hi, Is there any way to get excel to round fractions to the nearest "1/x" value? I currently have a fraction shown as 4/953 and want this shown as a "1/x" value instead e.g. the denominator can be any value but I want the numerator to be 1. I realise that this will mean loosing accuracy in the value.

Need help learning how to write a macro, I have read loads of online posts and yes i can copy and paste them into spreadsheets and sometimes they work but i really want to understand what the lines actually mean to that I can start to get to grips with the whole concept. Also would like some advise on a database project I am working on, what is possible with excel on its own and what is not - should i just scrap it and use MS access instead?

I need to analyse 3 CSV worksheets with data from an outbound call centre to encourage people to sign up for a loan: leads.csv is a list of contact details that were fed into the call centre's systems for agents to call calls.csv is a list of calls made by the call centre to leads. There may be no calls or multiple calls to some leads. Each call is given an outcome i.e 'interested' (leads with an interested call does not necessarily mean they signed up and one lead may have multiple 'interested' calls) signups.csv is a list of leads who actually signed up (this may or may not have been after an 'interested' call). Each signup was risk assessed and either approved or rejected for a loan. I need to figure out: (i) How many signups each agent got (A Signup is assigned to the last agent who called the corresponding lead, in cases where multiple agents called the lead) (ii) Which agent had the most signups per call? How many? (iii) What was the mean and median number of calls to a lead before that lead was first marked as interested?
