I am needing to build a score sheet that has 3 options in the drop down with words, but has a numeric value hidden in the background. Then I need those values to average. I am lost at how to find instructions. Can you show me how to work out average on excel?

What formula should I use to get an average of a group of averages. I have data that averages daily data by the day (say data collected on Monday); then data averaged each day of the weel (Tuesday's data, then Wednesdays data, etc. etc. for each day of the week. Now I want to AVERAGE the averages collected for each day of the week to arrive at a WEEKLY average.,. but I can only get a error in the final weekly average cell. This is the formula I jave been ising: =AVERAGEIF(N121:T121,"<>0") What am I doing wrong?

Hi I'm trying to keep a record of funds for a club and part of that is keeping the average of two numbers which is the money we collect last week and this week. but when I plug in the formula for both I got "4/7/02" for the sum and "1/23/00" for the average??? it is just numbers that I need the sum and average of so im not sure what is happening. If anyone has experience of advice please let me know!!

I need to fill out cell C9 in "Lender Loan Tape Summary" with the average monthly loan volume per lender specified in B4. The loan volume data is located in col. P of "Historical Loan Tapes" tab.

I have a spreadsheet with land prices per acre at different dates, expressed in the format mo/day/year. There are 66 items and the dates are NOT in order but are all in one column. I'd like to average the 2016, 2017, and 2018 prices separately. I think it can be done with an IF/THEN formula, but I don't know how to set it up! I want to do the following: 1) I want the ID (Column A) for each product on 'wc-product-export-2017-07-28' to link with the correct part code (column C) on 'Armorgard Price List'. This is identified on the 'wc' sheet at the start of column D where i concatanated the code and description... maybe need to break this apart? 2) I then want the correct 'NLS Price' (Column L) on Armorgard sheet to show in the 'Regular Price' (Column Y) on the 'wc' sheet. Guess this all on lookup codes, but appears to be loads of different types... also dont know how to break up a concatanate, when the formula is no longer there... Please bear in mind that 'wc-product-export-2017-07-28' is for a csv import. if we add a lookup formula to this will this mean it cant import? Also when i sorted the columns, not all the data was moving on the 'Armorgard' sheet.... is this normal, and if so, just be aware of this :-)!! Also looks as though as if i can only upload one file... any ideas??
