Hello I wonder if you can help me. I am looking for advanced excel formula, can you please help me? My example is as follows:Formula to be in Cell D27 If engagement type in cell D17 is "this" or "that (there are 5 categories) show me the rate corresponding to job as per cell D26, Rates are available in other tab in separate columns for both types of engaments. So I wonder what would be the clever formula that selects rates values and vlookup to select appropriate job category in cell D26. Thank you

Hi, I am trying to design a userform that allows the user to both select from a drop down box to populate other text boxes (this is working), but then I need the same to happen on a text box below that will then populate the next 4-5 text boxes using vlookup on the data just added to the textbox. For ease of reference, if the user inputs a value in text box 1, text boxes 2-5 will auto fill by referencing to a table in the workbook. It sounds simple enough but its driving me mad!! Please help if you can!

Hello, I am trying to combine an IF and VLOOKUP formula. I am trying to build an invoice sheet and I want to make it so if there is no code in the Product code space then Product name, description and unit price will be blank. After researching I found this =IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(A20,Poducts,2,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP(A20,Products,2,FALSE)) But it is not working as the N/A does not dissapear from the spaces with no codes. In my workbook I have a sheet called clients, products and Invoice with the tables carrying the same names for referring Vlookup. Any help is appreciated.

Someone just helped me with a Vlookup formula, but now I can't find it in the help screen. Can you see my previous chat? I had uploaded a small sample database to use. The ones I'm actually using have several thousand entries. I need the formula again. Hopefully it will work on spreadsheets of varying lengths. Here's my original question: I need a formula of some sort that will allow me to compare columns C and D on the Master list (sheet 1), with columns C and D on the (subset list) sheet 2. If they match, then copy the number from column E on sheet 1 to column E on sheet 2. If it doesn't match, then leave column E on sheet 2 blank.

I'm receiving an error, "#N/A" with my VLOOKUP Formula. I'm simply trying to find if the same transaction number found in Column I, in the Payments sheet, is also located in the Transaction Number in Column D on the Transactions Sheet.

I am using vlookup with two different formulas based on a cell value. For example if T26 has "UK", I need to vlookup in the UKSales sheet. If T26 has "NYC", then I need to vlookup in the NYC sheet. the two sheets are formatted slightly different so the vlookup formulas are different. How do I combine these into one formula for the whole spreadsheet instead of manually looking to see "okay, this one is UK - so I need to put in the vlookup for the UK info"?
