I have a P&L with the Chart of Accounts in Column A the months going across the top and the year above that. I am using the Sumif(index(...match()) to pull in where the account number and the month intersect but I also need to pull in the year to date value. I tried using a list of the months that I want to pull in and I also tried to pull in values if it found FY18 but it keeps pulling in the first value and then stops. Please advise

I am trying to use sumif to summarize bank transactions by month and category. Dates (column A) and Codes (column C) and the amounts in column B. So there could be 500 lines of info and say 30 lines to a month and 10 different codes (501 502 503 etc). I am trying to add the total of each code by month.

Hi, I have in Row A a list of products all with different names. I want to sumif the total sales value of those items referencing the data sheet. It looks like this. =SUMIF(Profitability!$A$2:$A$875;"AH PLUS EXPORT";Profitability!$C$2:$C$875) Is there a way to drag the formula down while excel automatically picks up what the name change is in the reference cell? Ie AH PLUS EXPORT then changes to AH PLUS EXPORT 2 etc

I need a formula that sums a row, based on a certain (dynamic) set of criteria, requiring it to choose a row based on another set of criteria to look for the first criteria. Essentially: SUMIF(index(match(set of rows, type,0),sum criteria, sum area)

I need to sum multiple columns with multiple rows based on criteria. I'm currently using a SumIf with offset formula. However, instead of returning the sum with the 12 columns I intend, it's only returning the sum of the first column in the array. Please help!
