I need to combine data from multiple pivot tables.

Hi, I am trying to calculate the average daily attendance by month, role and overall with this data set. What functions and how would I use them? I am only familiar with sorting and filtering. or should I be creating pivot tables?

I need to create a formula that counts the number of jobs matching specific criteria (e.g. overdue, due this week, due this month), over three sheets in the same file; AND displays the count in a cell- which I can then double click to bring up a table of those jobs (similar to pivot tables). I need to be able to save this formula in a template as the source data will change every week and I don't want to have to go through the bother of tweaking pivot tables every time. I've had no luck with countifs and sumproduct, as i cant seem to combine the three source data, and getting the cell "double click"option to bring up a table either.

I am using a excel 2010 on a 64 bit processor. I have a large amount of data that is imported via a macro and then I use pivot tables to summarize it and display. All in all the file is 80mb when saved as .xlsm. The macros take too long to process and sometime breakdown due to out of memory issues. I was wondering if it was better to use two seperate workbooks togehter rahter than using multiple worksheets to on the same workbook.

From this I want to generate the pivot tables seen in the following sheets: balance data solution, income pivot table, YTD comparisons. I'd also like a sheet that allows me to type in a given date and a table will be generated that pulls up that same date or something close to that date from all previous years I've been in business ('93). I'd like to be able to regenerate this report on the fly
