Hi, I have 1 spreadsheet with two tabs. On my first sheet I have on hand inventory consisting of an item description and on hand count taken from a few days ago. On my 2nd sheet I have the same item description and a count that was sold. I am trying to create a vlookup on my 1st page to look at the item description and if that appears in Column H:H then to take the number corresponding to the sold item and place it on the first page in a new column next to the old item count. hello i need help to count comma separated values by cell in multiple cells e.g first cell has 14,0,4 second cell has 4,2,0 etc. the first value in the cells need to be added up i.e 14+4 =18 and displayed in a cell named regular hours the second values need to be added up and displayed in another cell called O.T single=0+2=2 and the third values need to be added up and displayed in another cell called O.T 1/2=4+0=4

Count initials in an array. not sure how to do this but I want to get numbers for each set of intials.

I am trying to insert a formula that will count the blank fields so I don't have to put a number in the fields ex. =COUNTIF(B3:B10, ). Is this possible or do I have to put in a number? If not a number can I put in a special character? I need something that can be spotted easily. My other values have all numbers. I am not very good with excel spreadsheets.
