I'm using the CEILING formula to calculate the duration between start/end times (round up to each 6 minute increments), in the form of a decimal number. Example, 6:00 to 6:30 is 0.5 hour (=CEILING ((B2-A2)*24, 6/60). For some reason, each 6th minute mark is counted UP, so instead of getting "0.5" I'm getting "0.6"

how can I make a pivot table that looks at how many people are present at the same time on average. so L (month) - M (day) - N (hour) (ignore minute) are relevant of when a person arrives. ignoring minutes, if I wanted to break it into 1 hour inrements - 0-1, 1-2...23-24 so we know when 25,776 people arrive and how long they all stayed how can I figureout an average to say that based on all of this, there will be X number of people between 0-1, Y number between 1-2...Z between 23-24. based on daily averages over the year. It would be sort of a waiting line problem.

Hi, I need to know how to make columns from three columns to count the average amount of people that are present at a certain time. I need to make 24 categories representing the 24 hours of the day. All of the rows are based off the month (column I), Day (column J), and Hour (column K). So the idea is that I am trying to take all of this data and look at the average from all 365 days and 24 hours to have an average for how many present at what times. Making a heat map of times - more people show up at which hour. I have a second question re: a waiting line problem that then adds in the average LOS (in minutes - Column H)
