IF the hourly rate + 1.45/hours >10.90 then 10.90 * hours * family % (I think) the IF hourly rate + 1.45/hours<10.90 then hourly rate + 1.45 *family % (I think) So what I am trying to find out is... 10.90 per hour is the maximum rate the government will pay. if the fees per hour are over this then it needs to be limited to 10.90 per * family's %....if the fees (hourly rate + 1.45) are less than 10.90 per hour... then hourly rate + 1.45 * family %

I created a Timecard where I am using the 2nd tab (Import Spreadsheet) to calculate the hours and populate in such a way so as to allow my Office Administrator to simply copy/paste the data from the 2nd tab directly onto a spreadsheet that is then uploaded into our payroll system. In our world, Holiday hours are counted in the math when computing overtime pay. In other words, Holiday hours are placed in the 40 hour "bucket" of regular time and can then bump any hours > 40 out of Regular and into Overtime. There is more to explain, but I've run out of room. Website won't let me go > 650 characters.

I've calculated total hours worked in a shift by taking the current time and subtracting it from an employee's start time. Now I want to take the total dollars collected by that employee and divide it by the total hours worked I calculated to give dollars collected per hour but I keep getting $0/hr. Can you help me calculate this correctly in Excel?
