I have created a small test sheet to check that the excel INDEX MATCH formula is working as I need it to. It seems to mostly work but randomly returns the wrong postcode for a couple of rows. I have highlighted this postcode in yellow on the lookup column and in green on the return column. This should match without issue like the other values that work fine (I dragged the formula down from D2). But for some reason the wrong postcode is being returned (highlighted in red).

I want help with a lookup formula. Could i ask for expert 01?

Formula question on sheet "Data" and VLOOKUP against columns in Function lookup sheet.

I want to do the following: 1) I want the ID (Column A) for each product on 'wc-product-export-2017-07-28' to link with the correct part code (column C) on 'Armorgard Price List'. This is identified on the 'wc' sheet at the start of column D where i concatanated the code and description... maybe need to break this apart? 2) I then want the correct 'NLS Price' (Column L) on Armorgard sheet to show in the 'Regular Price' (Column Y) on the 'wc' sheet. Guess this all on lookup codes, but appears to be loads of different types... also dont know how to break up a concatanate, when the formula is no longer there... Please bear in mind that 'wc-product-export-2017-07-28' is for a csv import. if we add a lookup formula to this will this mean it cant import? Also when i sorted the columns, not all the data was moving on the 'Armorgard' sheet.... is this normal, and if so, just be aware of this :-)!! Also looks as though as if i can only upload one file... any ideas??

help with lookup (or at least thats what I think I need)

I need to lookup a cell in an array where each cell within that array may contain other text as well as the lookup value (partial string match) then return another column to the right of the array on the same row. This then has to be repeated to capture every row where the lookup value appears within the array. I am sure this can be done in VBA but I am not sure how.

Please can you tell me how I can lookup a cell in an array and return another column for every time the lookup value appears within the array? I will need to find a match when the lookup value appears as part of the string in the array and not require the cell in the array the equal the lookup value, just contain it.
