I am trying to use the VLOOKUP function in a large chart of BMI data. I want to display 'Underweight', 'Normal', 'Heavy Weight', or 'Obese', depending on the various BMI amounts. I have large Excel 2011 (Mac) spreadsheet that the values in two sheets have suddenly become hidden in the worksheet but do appear in the formula box. Google issue shows special number format ;;; can hide cell content but this was not done or used .. and attempts to re-format cells back to general or other do not return cell contents back to visible. Strangely the workbook works fine when viewed on another computer running later OSX but this problem only occurring when viewed on earlier OSX 10.6 version. The problem sheets were fine when originally started working in OSX 10.6 but after working several hours the problem occured
