I have a large dataset (12,000+ entries). Of this about 2500 are unique entries (they are text based entries rather than numerical) - the rest are duplicates. At the moment I only want to analyse the data in columns 1 and 2 - I'm not interested in column 3 and 4. I want to import the data from columns 1 and 2 to another program that I will use to analyse the text. Is there any easy way to remove all the duplicates from columns 1 and 2 so that I'm left with approx 2500 unique entries rather than 12,000 entries?
