I'D LIKE TO CREATE A RULE WHEREBY IF THE COLUMN B DESCRIPTION SAYS SOMETHING THEN THE COLUMN E WILL AUTOMATICALLY PUT IN A SPECIFIC LETTER SO IF COLUMN B SAYS JCREW I WANT COLUMN E TO INSERT THE LETTER 'C' AND I'D LIKE TO DO THIS MULTIPLE TIMES WITH DIFFERENT DESCRIPTIONS AND HAVE DIFFERENT LETTERS CORRESPOND TO THOSE DESCRIPTIONS. I have a question about how i can solve the following problem using VBA. I have a spreadsheet with a list of values in column A and B. On a different sheet i have two cells (for example D1 and E1) that I want to update with a button press, so that they first show the two values in A1 and B1, and after the button press it goes on to show the values in A2 and B2.

So I need to group a cluster of words to be removed from excel. I was doing search and replace individually and this took quite a time. If the date is between 5/11/17 and 5/20/17 I'd like it to return 5/1/17.
