i am manually color coding a list in excel, however halfway through the page every-time i enter something it automatically fills in red which i dont want . I want to be able to put the information in and come back later and fill it the appropriate color. There are no formatting rules on the sheet but it does this every-time i fill a cell please help

I have a macro which copy's the entire Sheet 2 to Sheet 1 based on the headers. But, I would like the code to consider the rows which are highlighted in a specific color. Example: Sheet 2 has multiple columns and Sheet 1 will have only 5 or 6 column with headers of Sheet2. With my script, Sheet 1 will pull the complete row; based on the headers from Sheet 2 (Ex: 10). Now, I need to modify the script a bit where it will pull only highlighted(in Red) Rows from Sheet 2 based on the headers(Ex: 2 rows).

I'm designing a spreadsheet to track the daily status of over 40 personnel. I'd like to simplify the process by having the "calendar" portion of the spreadsheet have its cells populate with color based on the date range I enter at a section at the bottom. Is this possible? Currently I have to manually highlight the date range and select the appropriate color scheme.
