Excel - COLUMN Function Problem - Expert Solution

Question description:

Hi please see the formula in column AU on the attached. I am trying to work out why I get #N/A whenever the value in AP = "No Work Orders". Is it something to do with the fact that this comes from the formula in AT?

Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:02

User 09/08/2017 - 02:03

Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:03
ok the problem is in column AT
User 09/08/2017 - 02:04
ok
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:04
because I3 for example does not exist in the WO Pivot sheet
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:05
Are you there?
User 09/08/2017 - 02:06
no but it is on SB Outputs
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:06
yes it is
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:06
are you the one who wrote the formulas
User 09/08/2017 - 02:06
the formula in AT works but the one in AU looking at AT doesn't see that AT says No Work Orders
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:07
I'm asking to know how advanced are you in excel to know where to start explaining from
User 09/08/2017 - 02:07
Yes I don't know excel very well so probably very clumsy methods
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:07
AT3 in SB Outputs returns NA
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:08
so when referenced in AU it returns NA
User 09/08/2017 - 02:09
Oh sorry above I was saying AT but Meant AP
User 09/08/2017 - 02:11
so probably best I just sum AQ, AR and AS instead of looking at the pivot then?
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:11
the file just froze
Excelchat Expert 09/08/2017 - 02:11
