So if i understand correctly when you enter lets say 19999 the cell should show as 199.99
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:11
Is that right?
User 01/10/2018 - 08:12
yes as I mentioned in comments before posting problem
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:12

Give me sometime
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:14
It doesnt look like it can be done directly
User 01/10/2018 - 08:14
ok, then?
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:15
I am trying some custom formatting
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:15
let me see if that works
User 01/10/2018 - 08:15
ok, let me know
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:17
It will take some time as I am trying to explore a lot of options
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:17
I hope you dont mind that
User 01/10/2018 - 08:18
how much time will it take?
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:18
at least 10 mins
User 01/10/2018 - 08:18
no problem, I have meeting coming up, that will be cool to have in 10 minutes
User 01/10/2018 - 08:19
whats your name
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:19
Sorry I cannot discuss personal information
User 01/10/2018 - 08:19
I'm henry
User 01/10/2018 - 08:19
ok
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:19
I am not allowed to do that
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:21
Ok
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:22
So I did research a bit
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:22
and it doesnt look like that I can help you with a conditional formattiing
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:22
but i can help you with a formula to do that
User 01/10/2018 - 08:23
whats that
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:23
For example if you enter 1999 in cell B2
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:23
it would format that to 19.99
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:23
and so on and so forth
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:23
Let me know if that helps
User 01/10/2018 - 08:24
What is the formula
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:24
you can use a text formula
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:25
TEXT(B2/100,"#####.00")
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:25
This formula divides your number by 100 and makes sure that it adds only 2 decimal places after the division
User 01/10/2018 - 08:25
no no
User 01/10/2018 - 08:25
I don't want this
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:26
I am really sorry
User 01/10/2018 - 08:26
when ever I input any number in my excel file it shows with decimal. suppose I'm inputting 2999 in a1 it is auto calculating to 29.99
Excelchat Expert 01/10/2018 - 08:27
Oh
User 01/10/2018 - 08:27
