The formula is returning a #REF error.
Excelchat Expert 21/08/2018 - 08:29
Sure, I'm checking
Excelchat Expert 21/08/2018 - 08:33
Can you please help me to know, what you exactly want to see in the Workbook1 where the formula is returning #REF error
User 21/08/2018 - 08:37
I'm wanting the formula to search for sheet number (col A) and part number (col b) in workbook 2
User 21/08/2018 - 08:37
and then return the number from col I in workbook 2 to the
User 21/08/2018 - 08:38
cell
User 21/08/2018 - 08:38
column I being a price in the corresponding sheet number
User 21/08/2018 - 08:40
for example
Excelchat Expert 21/08/2018 - 08:40
Yes that would be great to see an example
Excelchat Expert 21/08/2018 - 08:40
As this is bit unclear to me
User 21/08/2018 - 08:43
please goto the LOOKUP TAB sheet on workbook 1.xls the formula will search in workbook 2 for 15382100...
Excelchat Expert 21/08/2018 - 08:44
Was it working before?
User 21/08/2018 - 08:46
yes.
User 21/08/2018 - 08:46
one of you kind GOT IT experts helped me to develop the formula
User 21/08/2018 - 08:46
and then the formula will look for B2 and from B2 it will pull the cost in colum I of that sheet back to the cell
User 21/08/2018 - 08:51

User 21/08/2018 - 09:02
That works. what did you change?
Excelchat Expert 21/08/2018 - 09:03
Well the convention was not proper, I changed to the correct one. Like the name given to Workbook in formula was not correct, hence changed and worked.
Excelchat Expert 21/08/2018 - 09:03
Hope this solves your problem :)
