Good Morning I have data with multiple pivot tables. I have a slicer with date ranges, example 07-29-18 to 08-11-18, that brings the data together with this date range. When I choose this date range the data shows blank. When I choose Blank on my slicer the data shows up. I have removed the data and re-entered it. File is very large and has been working up to this date. If I go to the next date range I get the data

Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:29
So, the problem is that the slicer is not pulling up data for one of the date ranges?
User 16/08/2018 - 03:29
I would love to as this is driving me crazy
User 16/08/2018 - 03:29

User 16/08/2018 - 03:30

Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:30
Did you try refreshing the pivot table?

many times and reentered the data
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:30
you have also checked the source data of the pivot table?
User 16/08/2018 - 03:30

User 16/08/2018 - 03:31
yes i have
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:31
In the source data, the values are present for this date range?

User 16/08/2018 - 03:34
[Uploaded an Excel file]
User 16/08/2018 - 03:34
I do use PowerPivot also
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:35
okay
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:36
I am not able to gauge anything from the screenshot
User 16/08/2018 - 03:36
I figured that as you would need to see the data

Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:36
Did you try re-inserting the slicer
User 16/08/2018 - 03:37
Yes but when I do it won't let me connect to any of the pivot tables. That is greyed out
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:38
okay
User 16/08/2018 - 03:39
When I put data in for the next period it works. It's just this date range
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:40
I am not able to figure out why is this happening specifically for a value
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:40
For slicers, to be connected to different pivot tables, those pivot tables should be created from same data source
User 16/08/2018 - 03:40
me neither and that's why I reached out. I've been working on this for 2 days now
User 16/08/2018 - 03:41
with powerpivot you can use mulitple data sources
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:42
Are other filters also applied at the same time?
User 16/08/2018 - 03:42
I can't see any filters on in any of the tables
User 16/08/2018 - 03:42
applied
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:42
okay
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:44
Apart from these, I can't see any other reasons why the slicer won't be working
User 16/08/2018 - 03:44
I know and that's why i reached out
Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:45
Mostly, this issue would be because of the source data only
User 16/08/2018 - 03:45
that's what i thought so too
User 16/08/2018 - 03:46
thanks for your help
User 16/08/2018 - 03:46

User 16/08/2018 - 03:46

Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:46

Excelchat Expert 16/08/2018 - 03:47

User 16/08/2018 - 03:47
Why does the Report connections be greye out
User 16/08/2018 - 03:47

User 16/08/2018 - 03:49
