Hi
User 13/08/2018 - 07:06
I have multiple cells vertically alligned, and I also have another one which shows me a total, I need to select a range from those cells and receive %
Excelchat Expert 13/08/2018 - 07:06
Would you be able to show me an example of what you need?
User 13/08/2018 - 07:11
I need a formula that gets me each percentage per platform
User 13/08/2018 - 07:12
thanks
Excelchat Expert 13/08/2018 - 07:12
For example, how much is desktop of total spent?
User 13/08/2018 - 07:12
exactly
Excelchat Expert 13/08/2018 - 07:12
Thank you, I need a few minutes.
Excelchat Expert 13/08/2018 - 07:14
This is the formula. =SUMIF($A$2:$A$16,"Desktop",$B$2:$B$16)/$H$2
Excelchat Expert 13/08/2018 - 07:14
Here $H$2 is the overall total.
User 13/08/2018 - 07:15
what if my total is in another sheet
Excelchat Expert 13/08/2018 - 07:15
SUMIF($A$2:$A$16,"Desktop",$B$2:$B$16) will give us the total for Desktop.
Excelchat Expert 13/08/2018 - 07:16
Let's assume total is in sheet2 cell A1, then you write sheet2!$A$1 in the place of $H$2
User 13/08/2018 - 07:16
