This is the formula. =SUMIF($A$2:$A$16,"Desktop",$B$2:$B$16)/$H$2
Excelchat Expert

Here $H$2 is the overall total.
User

what if my total is in another sheet
Excelchat Expert
13/08/2018 - 07:15
SUMIF($A$2:$A$16,"Desktop",$B$2:$B$16) will give us the total for Desktop.
Excelchat Expert
13/08/2018 - 07:16
Let's assume total is in sheet2 cell A1, then you write sheet2!$A$1 in the place of $H$2
