This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this
blog.
I need a formula that sums values across a range of dates. for example: Let's say I have Jan - Dec in a row, with corresponding values below. Once I select Jun, the formula should sum up all values from Jan-Jun!

Yes, if I have a row of dates, e.g Jan - Dec. with corresponding values in the row below. Once I select June, all the values fron January to June are summed up.

The formula is in B5. A5 is where you can type which month to end the sum.

For instance, if you type 6/1 in A5, this will sum Jan to Jun
