Hello
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:13
can you let me know the condition under which the cell content needs to be moved?
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:14
also if you have a sample data it will be easy for me to build a formula on
User 26/07/2018 - 04:14
If a specific word is mentioned in a row then certain cells in rows between columns 1-20
User 26/07/2018 - 04:16
So, this is basically what the spreadsheet consists of. If the auction column says smart I need it to move the stock #, last 8 of vin, year, make, model, and BN to a new sheet
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:18
which of these columns will might have unique values...
User 26/07/2018 - 04:18
On my sheet is column F, but on here it will be the auction column
User 26/07/2018 - 04:18
They will all have unique values, but I need for them to move based on the auction column.
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:19
ok.. so i will build a solution to look for the word "Smart" in column A
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:20
if it matches.. then data matching to that row will be copied to the new sheet...
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:20
give me few mins to build this
User 26/07/2018 - 04:20
OkY
User 26/07/2018 - 04:20
okAY
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:21
will the column A have only one WORD.. or it could have multiple words and Smart is inbetween those words
User 26/07/2018 - 04:21
No, only one word in the column
User 26/07/2018 - 04:21
It's a drop down box
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:22
awesome.. thx.. :)
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:31

User 26/07/2018 - 04:33
Perfect, and this will work for how many rows?
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:33
for now the formula is for 2000 rows in Main_Auction
User 26/07/2018 - 04:34
That's perfect. I usually delete certain rows after I'm done with them so this will work great.
User 26/07/2018 - 04:34
Thank you!
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:34

Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:35
FYI... when you delete the rows.. from the main sheet...
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:36
the formula rows also will reduce by count..
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:36
so you would need to keep updating the formula..
User 26/07/2018 - 04:36
Okay. Is it a formula or vba?
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:36
its a formula
User 26/07/2018 - 04:40
Awesome. I have tried everything and researched for days. So, thank you!
Excelchat Expert 26/07/2018 - 04:41
