Hello, welcome to excel gotit pro.
Excelchat Expert 25/07/2018 - 08:54
I believe you need a sumif formula.
User 25/07/2018 - 08:55
Is there no way that excel can auto graph it?
Excelchat Expert 25/07/2018 - 08:55
Please show me some sample data and I will guide you on how you can do the sum.
User 25/07/2018 - 08:55

User 25/07/2018 - 08:56
I would like the graph to show a bar of 2985 for Accra
User 25/07/2018 - 08:56
Sorry 2685
User 25/07/2018 - 08:56
Can't type 3685
Excelchat Expert 25/07/2018 - 08:57
I'm confused. The problem statement was about sum. And now you are talking about graph?
User 25/07/2018 - 08:57
Yes I want to sum all the Accra numbers to populate a graph
Excelchat Expert 25/07/2018 - 08:58
Ah I see. that confused me.
Excelchat Expert 25/07/2018 - 09:00
There are many ways to graph the totals but all those methods would require a auto sum table.
User 25/07/2018 - 09:01
Okay, for some reason I thought that there was a simpler way, so i have to sum up all Accra with a look up formula?
Excelchat Expert 25/07/2018 - 09:02
Not necessarily a lookup table is required. We can make a pivot table too.
User 25/07/2018 - 09:02
Yes, of course Pivot table! Thanks I am on it.
User 25/07/2018 - 09:02
