Excel - COLUMN Function Problem - Expert Solution

This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this blog.

Every time I close an excel spreadsheet and reopen it, my column widths are automatically adjusted. They shrink each time. What is my problem?

if you want generic solution .. selct the entire column right click and force the column width
