Since you are not able to reply, I'll be giving you a solution based on how you've written the description but I can't guarantee that it is what will solve your problem.

Based on how you've written the issue, it appears that your VLOOKUP() formula may be using absolute referencing.
Excelchat Expert

You'll know that it is the case if your range (cells) are written with the $ sign.

For instance $A$1 means that wherever you paste the vlookup, it will always be referencing $A$1.
Excelchat Expert

While A1 when pasted one column to the right will automatically adjust itself to B1. And when pasted 1 row down will be A2 automatically.

So if you can just remove the $ in the referencing of your vlookup, you can then try to paste it to another cell and see if that's the result you need.

I would love to see your actual file so I can provide you with the exact formula you need but since you have stopped replying, I won't be able to.
