What is the value for A<B?
User
19/06/2018 - 02:29
for example you can imagine you are guessing the result of a football match
Excelchat Expert
19/06/2018 - 02:29
ok.
User
19/06/2018 - 02:30
if your guess is perfect with the final result then you have 3 points
User
19/06/2018 - 02:30
if you only correct about which team win, you get 1 point, otherwise is 0
Excelchat Expert
19/06/2018 - 02:30
ok.
Excelchat Expert
19/06/2018 - 02:31
=if(A1=B1,3,if(A1>B1,1,0))
User
19/06/2018 - 02:31
so you have the actual result in column A and your guess in column B. I need the point in column C
User
19/06/2018 - 02:32
for example in column A is 2-1, if column B is 2-1 then C = 3
Excelchat Expert
19/06/2018 - 02:32
Please review the formula.
User
19/06/2018 - 02:32
if column B is 3-0 then C = 1
User
19/06/2018 - 02:32
if column B is 2-2 or 1-3 then C = 0
Excelchat Expert

Your reference deal with strings.
Excelchat Expert
19/06/2018 - 02:46
The string contain "-"
Excelchat Expert
19/06/2018 - 02:46
However, you results are based on the first part of the string.
Excelchat Expert
19/06/2018 - 02:46
It is before "-"
