Have a column of figures say in column F and need total Line 3 thru 60. what is the formula? Also need to know formula for Column for say f+g=h

To your first query about totaling, You need to go to the cell where you need the totals to show and type =sum(

To drag you need to put the cursor at the bottom right corner where there is a blue dot, your cursor will turn to a cross(+) then left click and drag
