Expert Solution - Excel COLUMN Problems

This user has given permission to use the problem statement for this blog.

I am using Excel for Mac 2016. I want to add data to a column and then use text to columns to separate it. My problem, the text to columns window for setting the column breaks is too narrow and I don't know how to navigate further to the right. It was intuitive in Excel 2011. Not now.

No. There is no problem with the file. Only knowing how to navigate within the Text to Columns window when setting the columns. The rightmost cols are off screen and I can get to them.

Have you tried the little triangle pointers on the data preview tab?

I see no triangles. During Text to Cols, I can use the mouse to navigate horizontally, but there is no slider to allow me to navigate further to the right vertically.

I can add the divisor lines up until the end of the window and no further. Yes, I click next, but it leaves what I want to be two columns as one column.

I do not have the Delimited>Space.... option that you show. Not to mention that my data is fixed width, not delimited as it's a result of a FORTRAN program output.
