I think i have seen this before, i´m trying to find out if you can make excel display a question and make the users answer and the users answer will put in a number in a cell defined by you? For example, how many hours have you been working today, the user replies 8 and that number goes into cell a1 for example.

User 23/05/2018 - 06:08
No more lika a popupbox and depending on the answer fill in a predifined cell
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:09
we can add comments over a cell when you hover it will display you comment based on that you have to fill the cell
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:09

User 23/05/2018 - 06:10

User 23/05/2018 - 06:13
We use excel to record our daily work, and everyday we have to fill in working hours and what equipment we have used
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:14
User 23/05/2018 - 06:14
and for how many hours we have used the equipment, so is there a way to predifine questions in excel and make excel itself insert the hours directly into the worlsheet?
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:15
No there is no such this
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:15
We can write VBA but it also requires to open excel
User 23/05/2018 - 06:16
Could you use power query for this?
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:16
My suggestion is to make any web application using ASP.Net and update the entries directly to excel
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:17
This site only supports Excel questions related to Excel formulae
Excelchat Expert 23/05/2018 - 06:17
it won't support power queries, VBA
User 23/05/2018 - 06:17
